We respect privacy laws in the EU and Canada. We will not use personal data for any purposes other than to maintain and run the site, and for research purposes. We will not sell or give away your data to anyone who is not involved in the management of this site. We will use aggregated and other data for research purposes but, unless required by law, we will not reveal any personally identifying information other than that which users of the site themselves choose to make public.

Access control is available for almost all the data on the site apart from username and visible name. These are under the control of the individual user and may be anonymized if you wish.

The site has links to other sites over which we have no control, and makes use of login data from social sites if individuals choose to link them. You may unlink your login from other sites if you use them to login and later change your mind. This option is available in your personal settings.

The site itself is hosted in the US so is subject to US law. However, we will not willingly provide data to anyone unless required by legislation to do so.
